Research meets software.

I’m Aycan Deniz Vit, a doctoral researcher at Ghent University–imec. My research focuses on photonic reservoir computing for signal equalization.

My published work spans deep photonic networks, polarization handling, dispersion engineering, and fabrication tolerance. You can find the journal articles and conference proceedings in my publication archive.

Tools alongside the research

I also work on software tools, including klayout-mcp for chip layout inspection and contui for Docker container management.
